ASBMB Today has an article about the October 2008 Post-Translational Modifications meeting organized by Facility faculty, Ralph Bradshaw and Katalin Medzihradszky. Seventy people attended the meeting, held at the Granlibakken Resort.

October 26-30, 2009
PhD Glycoanalysis & Glycochemistry Course at the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Facility's Robert Chalkley spoke at the Mini-Symposium on O-GlcNAc Analysis by Lectin-based Enrichment and Mass Spectrometry prior to the course. The Facility's Katalin Medzihradszky spoke during the course on Sweet success in O-GalNAc analysis, and some bitter aftertaste.

August 30 - September 4, 2009
Facility members attended the 18th International Mass Spectrometry Conference in Bremen, Germany. At the meeting, the Facility's Katalin Medzihradszky gave three talks: From the dinosaur's perspective. I still look at the raw data; Database search & Phosphorylation; and a keynote lecture Analysis of Post-Translational Modifications: Tricks, Triumphs and Caveats. She also chaired a session on Multiprotein Complexes.

May 31 - June 4, 2009
Facility members attended the ASMS meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They presented recent progress in many of the Facility's research projects. The Facility's Robert Chalkley along with Karl Clauser and Steve Carr organized a meeting to discuss updating the MCP publication guidelines.
